FIBA U18 Women’s EuroBasket 2026 @ Tulcea

Tulcea will host the FIBA ​​U18 Women’s EuroBasket 2026, Division B, in July 2026, with the matches to be held in the new Multipurpose Hall in the city, which is scheduled to open in March of next year.

If Tulcea does not meet the organizational conditions imposed by FIBA ​​standards, the location of the competition may be changed to Ploieşti.

The Board of Directors of the Romanian Basketball Federation adopted several decisions on December 5, including the one regarding the organization of the international competition in Tulcea.

Coach Mihaela Grecu, regional technical director of the Romanian Basketball Federation, says that the organization of the U18 European Championship in Tulcea depends on the completion of the new multi-purpose hall.
