The story of the map
The new tourist map of Tulcea is ready! This is the second version of the map (2025 edition), and the whole process through which it took shape was a team effort from which we only gained.
The first version was launched last year by OMD Municipiul Tulcea, also going through a short public debate. Many good ideas came from there, but the biggest gain was the meeting with Leonard Pandrea, a true professional.
Leonard sent us a long message at the time, in which he introduced himself and gave us detailed feedback. He has been working on maps and guides for Michelin for many years and, fortunately for us, he was willing to help us with a new version of the Tulcea map, made according to international standards.
This one respects all the rules of cartography and, most importantly, is designed with the tourist in mind. In addition, the mission of the OMD is to make him spend more time in the city, urging him to visit the municipality with patience and interest. We have thus created a detailed mapping of all the relevant places in the city and have drawn up two walking tourist routes to make his visit easier.

Delta Dunării rămâne fără dar și poate motivul pentru care turiștii ajung la Tulcea. Pentru cei care rămân măcar o noapte în oraș, ne-am gândit să trasăm două itinerarii sub forma unor excursii de-o zi. Acestea se regăsesc pe spatele hărții orașului, cu prezentarea celor mai importante atracții turistice de pe traseu.
