The 23rd edition of the International Multiethnic Shepherding Festival will take place from May 14 to 18, 2026 in Beidaud.
The Aromanian Ensemble "Dor" from Sarighiol de Deal, the organizer of the event, was founded in 1978, at the initiative of engineer professor Dumitru Caimacan Popescu.
Structured in two sections: Aromanian songs and dances and Aromanian traditions and customs, the ensemble quickly made its repertoire known throughout the country and abroad, but also in various radio and television shows.
The first edition of the International Shepherding Festival in Sarighiol de Deal took place in 2003.
